Pocket Fairy dolls
Pocket Fairy dolls fits in a 1:12 dolls house, but they are just a little bit too big. Their bodies are not very easy to pose and their arms are only able to do two poses, the L and the I. Their bodies are chubby and cute. The resin is robust and has a beautiful flesh tone.
These dolls comes with a faceup and it’s easy to find clothes, shoes and wigs for them. Bluefairy has been around since 2004 and supplies their customers with wigs, clothes and shoes. But there are hundreds of talented doll collectors who makes doll clothes in this size. The best items are found at Yahoo Japan.
There are four main places to get these dolls and accessories for them; Bluefairy International, Minoruworld, Yahoo Japan and at the BJD forum Den of Angels. Also, have alook at Anna’s Pocket Fairy FAQ for more info.
The first picture to the left is Pocket Fairy Jimmy. He is my first ball jointed doll. The dolls in the second picture on the top right are Yoko and Minimay. Bluefairy does no longer make Yoko of some strange reason. I believe that Yoko was the most popular mold, and the only way to get her now is at the second hand market. The head shots to the lower left are six of the ten molds available at the Bluefairy site. Yoko is the doll in the lower right photography. She’s having early breakfast in her 1:12 kitchen.

Oh Linda, by the way, minoru is currently releasing a white skin Yoko! They’re taking preorders of all PF and Tiny Fairy in white skin, including PF Yoko (which wasn’t made anymore, but they said it was a temporary thing) and TF Jerome which was available only as a head.

Oh that is great news! Although I don’t think she’ll be as pretty as Yoko with normal skin. I’ll have a look! Thank you so much for the info.
