1:12 Miniature computers
Miniature computers make a big difference in your mini spaces. I’ve been searching for 1:12 scaled computers ever since I started collecting miniatures and have always been disappointed of the selection of notebooks and desktops. I own the two miniature Macs, the desktop computer from The Dolls House Emporium and the black laptop from Grandma Holly’s House. The only ones I like are the Macs from lilushop, and boy do I love them!! I think that miss Pimoke will be very busy for a long time. Many of my Flickr contacts have ordered already.
Here is an example of what you will find if you search for 1:12 computers. The black laptop from Grandma Holly’s House is horrible and not worth a single cent. The only thing that looks good on that computer is the sticker. The desktop from The Dolls House Emporium is also a horrific design and the sticker doesn’t save it.

You know what? these computers are sooo cool, but it’s a shame that she doesn’t make pc. Anyway I have some nice coumputers from 2 sets:
- from the nendoroid school diorama sets (I don’t have a good photo but you can see the sets here http://www.flickr.com/photos/annetta/3290114623/in/photostream/)
- from old re-ment sets “my room” or something similar, there were 2 set variations, and also the laptop was white or black. http://www.flickr.com/photos/annetta/3701674662/in/set-72157603365686718/ . Re-ment also recently released a “mac” laptop in a cat themed set, but it’s too big for 1/12 dollhouse. It’s almost 1/4!
These ones are way better than some miniature ones, even if they’re still not detailed as illushops’. I thought that maybe this could be useful, great post as always Linda!

yeah I missed those. just did a quick research today. I forgot about the mac computers by re-ment so it’s great that you mentioned them.
I think you can ask Pimoke if she can make a PC. She’s very nice and even if she’s probably busy making these apple miniatures, I’m sure she’d make a PC if you wanted! What brand would you prefer? alien ware? ^^

What a total sucker I am for great design. I purchased the last desktop from lilushop, so they should give you a cut:) Thanks for sharing all the great resources. Great to read your posts and see your flickr shots. cheers!

that’s cool! I wish I could have collected stuff like this when I was younger, when I spent all money on beer, cigarettes and plane tickets.
